Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is ideally located on a charming square within walking distance to everything, offering chic and luxurious rooms. The service was a bit inexperienced, but the unique museum setting added an interesting touch. The spectacular location with excellent breakfast options makes up for any shortcomings in service. The dining experience, overlooking the square, was delightful in an unexpected Roman ruin setting. Overall, a great value for a stay in a beautiful area.
The hotel rooms were basic and felt very dark and noisy, lacking a separate shower in the bathroom. The TV and channels were of poor quality, and the breakfast was overpriced. Despite this, the reception desk hidden in the back of the restaurant was spacious, allowing even an extra bed to fit.
The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although showing signs of aging, have a unique touch with Roman remains, but are on the smaller side. Staff are not very welcoming, and the breakfast quality is below expectations for the high price. Soundproofing is also an issue.
The hotel is situated right in the center, making it convenient for exploring on foot. The rooms are bright, facing the central square, but could use some small improvements for the price. The service was friendly overall, despite the rooms being a bit overpriced. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old part of Maastricht with historical value. The dining experience offers a good selection in an interesting setting around Roman ruins. The facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
